dont worry she is giving us a cook book at the end :)

it was very delicious... as always!

one of the best deserts i have EVER had.
she put it with a raseberry yogurt

on tuesdays and thursdays we travel!

we travel to different places around italy such as...
Pompeii (which is tomorrow)
Siena and Florence (which we stay overnight)
Rome
Museums
The Grand Tour
Ninfa Gardens and Winery
and Milan (overnight)

weeknights...

it varies what we do!! some nights all 20 of us go out to dinner, which is so fun because we all get along so well and have a great time!! there are some nights some stay in and cook [trying to save that money]! and we even have the option of going into rome for a few hours!

for valentines day we all went to one of our favorite restaurants just down the street! it is on a hill we the view is beautiful!!
Me and Laura!

Chin- Chin!
tonight me and my friend brittany buckelew will be making dinner at the palace! im going to try and use some of my new skills i've learned from Mary Lou [i'll let yall know how that goes ha!]

weekends...!

our classes are only monday thru thrusdays, SO many of us have booked flights to visit surrounding countries on some of the weekends! this weekend is our first weekend we get to travel away! they wanted us to stay here the first few weekends so that we could get use to this area and i am so thankful they did because i absolutely love it here and want to know my way around where i will be living the next few months!

my weekend destinations:
Prague
Cinque Terre
Venice
Switzerland
Barcelona
and Positano

we also get a ten day spring break where i will be traveling to...
Paris (2nights)
London (3nights)
Rome (the rest of the time!)

so if anyone has any suggestions about ANY of these places please let me know :)

when we stay here for the weekend we just go to rome [so weird saying that]!

this past weekend we were craving american food!! we love the pasta and pizza, but common, give us some options!!  SO we decided what better place to go than the Hard Rock Cafe!! we were very excited about our decision and it was elizabeths 21st birthday and she wanted some fries and FREE ketchup with a big cup of ice and unlimited water!! we were so excited as we were on away, talking about what we were going to get and how good it was going to be... we get there walk in to put our names down [10 of us] and they say it will be a three hour wait! our mouths dropped. it was about 8 o'clock at this point and we were starving! being the americans we are, we were annoyed about the wait. as we were walking out we tried to think of ways to get around... splitting up, sitting at the bar, getting it to? [we were desperate] As we were walking out, the manager [who is from america, so knew how we felt] came up to us and told us he had overheard us complaining and said "i think i can work something out for yall, just wait hear a second and ill be back". our faces LIT UP! we waited around for a few minutes then he came and said "follow me"!!! he lead us back to a table he had got together for us, so we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes!!! it was glorious. we are very happy and satisfied americans. i got the a honey mustarded grilled chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. needless to say, we will be going back again.
we were such happy girls!

happy birthday elizabeth!!

i am absolutely loving italy!! starting to miss a few things here and there, but waking up in italy makes it all better :)

miss you all!!
