this week started off with another cooking lesson on monday!

this dish was very delicious!! at first i was a little unsure [im a very picky eater!] but i am glad i tried it! i made a happy plate!! :)
on tuesday, our field trip was to Vatican City. we left the palace by 6:50 to catch the 7:36 train in albano. Susanna, one of our professors, gave us a tour around the museum, Sistine Chapel, and the cathedral!

after our field trip was over me and 3 of my friends [Mary, Megan, and Elizabeth] stayed to spend a little more time in Rome. we got to see a parade for the carnival that was going on in Piazza del Popolo! it was so cool to see. all the children were dressed up in costumes and they were so precious!!

our spring break has officially started! we leave at 5 AM, when we will be picked up by our taxi that will take us straight to the airport. our flight to paris leaves at 7 am, so we will be in Paris by 9!! we leave for london on monday and then back to rome for st. patrick's day on thursday! i am traveling with seven of the girls and then we have a brother and boyfriend tagging along!! we are so excited and can't believe we get to travel europe for our spring break!! can't wait to update with pictures and stories :)
